Spending the whole pandemic on my own, I had to find ways to express how I was feeling. It’s true that family and friends were just a phone call away, but spending so much time without being able to hug or even touch anyone did make it very difficult.
Furthermore, my life has completely changed since this all started. I was used to going to work every day, and actually see my mates, joke around with them, banter... Now I work remotely and loneliness seems to surround me all day long.
These drawings are meant to reflect how I felt and still feel from time to time. I named them “Psicodelia Doméstica”, or Domestic Psychedelia. They did mean a lot to me. I hope you can identify if you went through something similar or, if you were lucky enough to feel better, get a grasp of what it was like for me.
